UK Biocentre at the 2021 Festival of Genomics & Biodata Virtual Event.
UK Biocentre participated in UK’s largest genomics and biodata event which held virtually from the 26th to 29th of January 2021.
The event had over 5000 global attendees, 50+ sponsors & exhibitors and 200+ speakers.
Our CEO, Dr Tony Cox gave a talk on Day 2 of the event titled – Milton Keynes Lighthouse Laboratory: Developing UK Infrastructure for High Throughput COVID-19 Testing.
In his talk, Tony explains how UK Biocentre responded to the UK government’s request to set-up a large-scale Coronavirus testing facility at the Milton Keynes Laboratory and the challenges that were entailed in the process.
