Chief Operating Officer
Craig joined UK Biocentre in April 2023 after spending five years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. During this tenure, he actively contributed to and steered transformative changes within the business, with a particular emphasis on transitioning to increased automation and technology adoption to enhance manufacturing productivity while reducing costs.
Prior to that, Craig's professional background encompassed various operational roles, including management and leadership positions in well-established organisations such as Royal Mail, Travis Perkins, and Electrocomponents.
At UK Biocentre Craig's primary responsibilities entail shaping the operational strategy and overseeing day-to-day operations, which encompasses teams in laboratory processing, sample inventory management, warehouse operations, the project management office, facilities management, and health and safety.
Craig is a passionate advocate for continuous improvement, and within UK Biocentre, he serves as a leader and facilitator of organisational improvement through our workforce and processes. This is aimed at delivering incremental improvements in business performance, as well as enhancing the services provided to our collaborators, partners, and customers.
