We are also recruiting for a number of other roles within the COVID-19 testing team. If you’d like to support the national effort against the coronavirus pandemic and have experience in any of the following areas, we would love to hear from you:
  • Laboratories
  • Logistics
  • Warehouse
  • Project management
  • Biomedical research
We are particularly interested in individuals who are comfortable working in a qPCR environment, and those who can operate liquid handling machines, although more generalist laboratory support is also required.

You will be employed on a temporary contract. If you are currently employed full time and wish to help, we will be happy to discuss secondment options with you. Permission from your current employer is required.

Where necessary, appropriate accommodation and reasonable expenses will also be covered. You will need to be able to start right away and be flexible in your hours of work.

We also have a number of back office support roles in Finance, HR and IT. Should you be interested in any of these areas of work, please send us your CV.

Laboratory supervisor Madison says:
“We are all scientists keen to help people. We all recognise the importance of the work and that every stage of the testing process is crucial. If you’ve recently graduated and want more experience, I honestly don’t think there’s a better programme to be involved in.”
